Police Identify 2 Killed In Tip O'Neill Tunnel Motorcycle Crash

Massachusetts State Police have identified the two men who were killed on their motorcycles inside the O'Neill Tunnel early Saturday morning.

Aralt Cesaire, 26, of Medford, and Jerry Alphonse, 28, of Everett, were killed when they lost control of their vehicles and crashed into a retaining wall.

Police said the fatal crash happened at about 2 a.m. inside the "Tip" O’Neill Tunnel.

Investigators said it appears a group of several motorcyclists were riding on the northbound portion of the Interstate 93 tunnel.

Police said two of the riders lost control of their motorcycles in the tunnel at Exit 23 and crashed, each suffering fatal injuries.

Both were declared dead at the scene. The circumstances surrounding the crash remain under investigation.
