Weekend Weather: Temperatures Warm Through Sunday

And just like that it's Friday once again. Skies cleared late Thursday and it was a pretty good evening for many. This allowed for temperatures to cool overnight, and it's crisp this morning.

I'm expecting a wonderful Friday with lots of sunshine and temperatures in the 60s to near 70. It will be coolest right along the coast as the winds come in off the water.

On Saturday, a warm front will approach the region, bringing more cloudiness and just a small chance of a shower or even the rumble of thunder. Along with the increase in clouds will come a brief increase in humidity. By late Saturday night and early Sunday, drier are will already be working into the region.

Sunday is definitely my pick of the weather for the weekend with plenty of sunshine and readings near 80. We continue to see these late summer temperatures here in September. It looks as though much of next week will also be fairly warm. Expect temperatures to be at or slightly above average for the entire work week.

All eyes are going to be on the tropics for the next week as a weather system may or may not develop into a hurricane. There’s still conflicting information as to whether or not this storm ever reaches the United States, but areas from Florida into New England are definitely a possibility for impact from a developing system.

We will all have a much better idea late this weekend as the atmosphere plays out a little bit better and the forecast become more concise.
