Teen Dies, 2 Others Injured In Dorchester Stabbing

A teenager was killed and two others were hurt in a triple stabbing in Dorchester on Saturday afternoon.

Yonan Guerrero, 16, was taken to the hospital in critical condition, Boston police said.

Police say they were called to the area of 575 Blue Hill Ave. at about 4:52 p.m. When officers got there, they found a total of three teenage boys who had apparently been stabbed.

Police said in a Facebook post on Sunday that Guerrero later died.

Two other boys, ages 13 and 16, suffered injuries not considered life threatening. About 10 to 12 teens were involved, Commissioner William Gross said at the scene.

Gross credited the quick action of multiple witnesses who called police to report the stabbings.

Police are looking at surveillance videos from nearby homes and businesses. It is not known if any of the teens are involved in gangs, Gross said.

The stabbings remain under investigation. No arrests were announced.
