Today's Weather: Things Remain Unsettled

Our stalled-out weather system continues to plague the region with a lot of clouds and periods of showers. It's not a great start to the week if you're on vacation but it will improve.

Today, we find more showers and even the rumble of thunder at times. There could be some heavier downpours, but also some hours of dry weather and, perhaps, a glimpse of sunshine. It won't be very warm, with temperature staying in the low-to-mid 70s.

Showers continue at times over night and also during the day tomorrow, especially in the afternoon.

We get some improvement on Thursday, with warmer readings into the 80s. It's likely that we stay dry, but it's not impossible a leftover shower crosses the area.

The upcoming holiday weekend looks stunning, with plenty of sunshine and temperatures in the low to mid 80s.
