Police Identify 2 Teens Killed In Dorchester Shooting

Boston police have identified two teenage boys shot and killed in Dorchester on Sunday afternoon.

K’Shaun Webster, 17, of Dorchester and Dante Carlor, 16, of Sutton, were found suffering from gunshot wounds in the area of 46 Wildwood St. at about 4:42 p.m., police said in a statement. The victims were taken to local hospitals, where they were both later pronounced dead, police said.

In a separate incident, an 18-year-old man was shot in Roxbury at about 11 p.m. Sunday. He was taken to the hospital in critical condition.

As of July 12, Boston had seen 28 homicides so far this year, up from 21 at the same time last year, according to police statistics. There's also been an uptick in non-fatal shootings, at 113 for the same period, up from 87 in 2019.

The Dorchester shootings are being investigated as homicides. Anyone with information is urged to contact police or the CrimeStoppers Tip Line at 1-800-494-TIPS.
