Man Arrested In Maine For Woman’s Death In Boston Hotel

A Massachusetts man has been arrested in Maine in connection with the death of a woman in a Boston hotel in March.

Boston police said Thursday that Aaron Parsons was arrested by the department’s Fugitive Unit and the U.S. Marshals Maine Violent Offender Task Force on Wednesday in South Paris.

The 43-year-old Revere resident was wanted in the March 13 death of Sarah Dorany, 29, of Maynard.

Dorany was found unresponsive in the Verb Hotel near Fenway Park around noon. She died on the scene, and police at the time said she appeared to have suffered from cardiac arrest.

But the state Office of the Chief Medical Examiner ruled the death a homicide in July, according to police. The U.S. Marshals Office said Parsons strangled Dorany and then fled to Maine. An arrest warrant was issued earlier this week.

Parsons is slated to be arraigned in Maine on Friday. He faces manslaughter and engaging in sexual conduct for a fee charges.

It couldn’t be immediately be determined if he has a lawyer and it’s not clear when he might be brought to Massachusetts.
