Department Of Defense: Airman Killed In Kuwait Served With Hanscom Air Force Base
The U.S. Department of Defense (DOD) identified an airman who was killed in Kuwait in a non-combat accident, it said Sunday in a brief press release.
Jason Khai Phan, a 26-year-old senior airman from Anaheim, California, was killed Sept. 12 while patrolling the perimeter of Ali Al Salem Air Base, Kuwait. The cause of the accident is under investigation, the DOD said.
Phan was assigned to the 66th Security Forces Squadron, based at the Hanscom Air Force Base in Mass., according to the release.
