Watch Live: Biden and new Supreme Court Justice Jackson speak to the press

Flanked by President Biden and Vice President Harris, Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson will speak with the press on Friday following her confirmation as the next Supreme Court Justice.

Brown will take her seat on the bench after the current Supreme Court session, when Justice Stephen Breyer steps down. She will become the first Black woman to serve on the nation's highest court.

Biden, Harris and Jackson are expected to speak at 12:15 p.m.
