For the fourth year, we're gearing up for our series highlighting local creatives of color — The Makers — and we want to hear from you.

Whose work moves you? Changes the way you think about the world around you? Gives you the feeling you can’t wait for their next song, performance, or gallery show?

We’re looking for local artists of color who give the cultural scene its electricity.

Nominations are open to creatives across disciplines. As in years past, we’re highlighting the work of artists from underrepresented and marginalized groups. We want to illuminate the work happening all over the city, and this gives us the opportunity to shine a light on artists who have traditionally been overlooked.
