Thousands of athletes hit the road from Hopkinton to Boston on Monday for the 127th Boston Marathon. This year marked a decade since the bombings at the race killed three and injured hundreds.
Spectators made it out to the course to remember the victims of the bombing and cheer on the athletes despite the chilly, wet weather.
