Photos: All eyes on swing states, as voters across U.S. cast ballots in razor-thin race

Election Day is finally here.
In the presidential contest, all eyes are on the seven swing states that will be the determining factors in the race to 270 electoral votes. Campaigns have held numerous rallies, sent out scores of volunteers in door-knocking efforts and inundated swing state residents with texts and calls hoping to secure every vote possible. Now, voters in Arizona, Georgia, Michigan, Nevada, North Carolina, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin will get their final chance to make their voice heard.
Down ballot, tight legislative races are also driving voters to the polls, as Democrats and Republicans battle for control of Congress. One such race is playing out in Maine, where Democratic incumbent Jared Golden is defending his seat against Republican state Rep. Austin Theriault.
Elsewhere in New England, a close race for the governor's office in New Hampshire is drawing eyes. Republican Kelly Ayotte and Democrat Joyce Craig are locked in one of the most competitive gubernatorial races in the country, hope to succeed outgoing Republican Gov. Chris Sununu.
Here's a look at scenes from polling places across the United States.
