A timeline of the Rümeysa Öztürk case

A half dozen masked agents stopped Rümeysa Öztürk outside her Somerville home and put her in an unmarked car on March 25.

Without her knowledge, federal immigration officials had canceled her student visa days earlier. The masked agents worked for the Immigration and Customs Enforcement. Hours after her detainment, her attorney, who had no idea where she was, filed a petition demanding her release.

Since that Tuesday evening more than a month ago, the Tufts University doctoral student has fought efforts to send her back to Turkey.
