Air traffic at Logan airport stopped briefly on Thursday after a plane veered off the runway.

JetBlue Flight 312 from Chicago rolled onto the grass after landing just before noon. There were no injuries reported, according to Samantha Decker, a spokeswoman for the airport's overseer, the Massachusetts Port Authority. In an email, she said passengers were bused to the terminal.

Decker told WBUR air traffic would resume once the plane was safely removed from the grass.

A JetBlue spokesperson said the airline would "conduct a full investigation of the incident and will work closely with the relevant authorities to understand the cause.” The airline also called safety its “top priority.”

As of Thursday afternoon, the Federal Aviation Administration flight delay website reported expected delays for arriving aircraft to be about two hours. Departure delays are projected at 45 minutes or longer.
