Organizers of the Boston Calling music festival announced Friday that there will be no event in 2026, though they expect to return in 2027.

In a Facebook post, they added that the festival would move from its traditional Memorial Day weekend to the first weekend in June in 2027.

The festival debuted in 2013 on City Hall Plaza, and later moved to the Harvard's athletic complex in Allston to accommodate bigger crowds. This year's festival included more than 50 acts, with Dave Matthews Band, Avril Lavigne and Luke Combs as headliners.
