Here are the Americans playing in the World Cup, including a defender from Mass.

Arlington's Miles Robinson will play at the World Cup.

The center back, who plays for Major League Soccer's Cincinnati FC, is one of 26 players invited to represent the U.S. at this summer's tournament.

His addition to the roster marks something of a comeback for the Massachusetts native. Robinson missed the team's last two big competitions. A knee injury left him off the 2024 Gold Cup team. And a bad Achilles forced him to miss the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.

Robinson is the sole Bay Stater on the roster, but there are plenty of players who call the Northeast home. Use the list and map below to learn a little more about the players wearing stars and stripes this year on soccer's biggest stage.
