Chuck and Kathy Collins lost their daughter Tiffanie to bacterial meningitis in 1996. They are both involved with The Compassionate Friends, a support group for people who have lost children. They are chairing the group’s 2010 national conference, which is being held in Arlington, Va., July 2-4. (NPR)
