Sharda Fornnarino is an outpatient surgery nurse at the Rocky Mountain Regional VA Medical Center in Aurora, Colo., where she's also local director for National Nurses United. In August, the Department of Veterans Affairs notified union members that it was ending nearly all of its collective bargaining agreements.
