The 20th anniversary of the Ig Nobel Awards was held on Thursday at Harvard University. Scientists came from around the globe to collect their prizes for research on such diverse topics as how to extend the sex lives of bats to a new technique for collecting whale snot by helicopter.

We speak with the creator of the Ig Nobel Awards, editor of the Annals of Improbable Research, Marc Abrahams.
