Boston's self-titled 1976 debut album has sold 17 million copies and counting, but the band's history was marred in 2007 by the suicide of lead singer Brad Delp. Now, his survivors are locked in a legal battle to determine what, or who, drove Delp to take his own life.

Boston Globe arts reporter Geoff Edgers has been going through the court documents with a fine-toothed comb. He tells us what he's found.
