'Social Network' Hopes The Oscar Goes To... Boston

At this year's Academy Awards, films made in Massachusetts garnered 16 Oscar nominations.

Boston-tied films are having a banner year that includes nominations for best film ("The Fighter" about a Lowell boxer played by Mark Wahlberg and "The Social Network" about Facebook Founder Mark Zuckerberg's social climbing at Harvard), and best actor (Jesse Eisenberg in "The Social Network.")

We speak with Daniel Kimmell, Boston correspondent for Variety, about Boston's chances at the Oscars and his picks for some of the top awards.
