Despite the snow, it's officially Spring, which means that the celebration for the Persian New Year — also known as Nowruz — has begun.

Radio Boston's Amory Sivertson went to Lala Rokh, Persian restaurant in Beacon Hill, to speak with owners Azita and Babak Bina about the rituals of the New Year.

Lala Rokh will be serving their traditional Sabzi Pollo Mahi until March 31 in celebration of the Persian New Year.

This segment aired on March 21, 2011.
