When breakdancing first exploded on the streets of the Bronx in the early 1980s, it wasn't long before it migrated north to Boston. And one of the first B-boy and B-girl crews from back then is still jumping, spinning and flipping into middle age.

The Floorlords are on their 31st year as a professional company, led by co-founder Lino Delgado. Their latest stage show features styles of movement that inspired the formation of breakdancing, from salsa dancing to Hollywood Kung Fu.

Adam Ragusea caught up with Delgado at a rehearsal on campus.

B-Girl Joss, Lino Delcado and the rest of Floorlords perform a free show at the Wellesley College Jewett Auditorium March 30 at 8 p.m.

This segment aired on March 28, 2012.
