What: Red Bull Cliff Diving World Series

Where: ICA, Boston Harbor

When: 4 p.m.-6 p.m., Saturday, Aug. 25

More:  Divers drop 80 feet into Boston Harbor off a custom-built platform on the cantilever roof of the Institute of Contemporary Art. Boston is the only American stop on the Red Bull Cliff Diving World Series, and there are 11 international athletes competing for the title.

What: Saint Anthony's Feast

Where: Boston's North End

When: Friday, Aug. 25 and Saturday, Aug. 26

More: Every year, the last weekend in August is reserved for Saint Anthony's Feast, which was started in 1919 by Italian immigrants from Montefalcione in Avellino. There'll be an opening ceremony at 7 p.m. Friday night, including the blessing of the Saint Anthony statue, and then the weekend is full of cooking demonstrations, music and, of course, lots of food.


What: Riverside Gallery's Annual Summer Pop-Up Show

Where: Cambridge Community Center

When: Sunday, Aug. 26, from 5:30-8 p.m.

More: The show this year is called "50-100-150," and that's because there will 50 local artists displaying their work, each piece will be on sale for $100, and they'll only be on sale for a period of 150 minutes. There'll be paintings, screenprints, drawings, photography and mixed media art pieces. So art collectors, bring your checkbooks to the Cambridge Community Center this Sunday evening.

What: Rock and Blues Cruise starring Lori McKenna

Where: World Trade Center Pier, Boston

When: Sunday, Aug. 26, 7 p.m.

More: Lori McKenna grew up in a musical family in Stoughton. Her songs have been recorded by Faith Hill, Tim McGraw, Carrie Underwood, Alison Krauss, Keith Urban and LeAnn Rimes.
