Three-time Poet Laureate Robert Pinksy culled through 2,000 poems from some of America's most talented and prolific poets in order to pick the best 100. Those top poems are now collected in the 25th anniversary edition of "The Best Of The Best American Poetry," which Pinsky guest edited. He joined Radio Boston to reflect on America's poetic tradition.

In honor of the 25th anniversary edition of "The Best Of The Best American Poetry," Robert Pinsky will co-host poetry reading on Thursday, April 4 at Boston University's Howard Gotlieb Archival Research Center.
