TEDx Live: Youthquake In The Muslim World

Farah Pandith is a first in the U.S. government. She's been serving as a Special Representative to Muslim Communities for the United States Department of State, a position that didn't exist, before she took the job.

It was created in 2009 by then Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, and after eight tumultuous years of conflict between the United States and elements within the Muslim World. She took on the job just before a fruit vendor in Tunisia set himself ablaze and with it, launched the Arab Spring.

These have been tumultuous times for the world, the Muslim world, and the youth in the Muslim word in particular.
