In New England, contemporary art lovers who need a dose of new art can go in several directions — heading east to Boston's Institute of Contemporary Art, or west to Mass MoCA in North Adams.

It features a new exhibition by the Danish-Icelandic artist Olafur Eliasson. It's the subject of this week's ARTery segment, where we talk to artists, critics and curators about what's exciting them in the local arts scene.
