One of the biggest surprises last night was in the sixth congressional district, where Marblehead native Seth Moulton ousted nine-term Democratic Congressman John Tierney.

That hasn't happened in Massachusetts in more than 20 years. But Moulton's primary night victory is also making national news, because Tierney is the first Democratic House incumbent to lose a congressional primary this season.

It sets up what could be a close battle between Moulton and the Republican vying for the seat, Richard Tisei.
