Few people understand the work of William Shakespeare quite like Tina Packer. She's the founding artistic director of Shakespeare & Company in Lenox, Massachusetts, and one of the nation's greatest interpreters of the Bard's canon.

In 2010, Packer premiered "Women of Will," a theatrical exploration of Shakespeare's female characters. Now, she's transferred that work from stage to page in her new book, Women of Will: Following the Feminine in Shakespeare's Plays.

Tina Packer will be appearing at Suffolk University's Modern Theatre on May 19.

Guest

Tina Packer, founding artistic director of Shakespeare & Company.

This segment aired on April 7, 2015.
