For many of veterans, the transition back to civilian life is a big challenge. Journalist Sebastian Junger explored that subject in his most recent documentary "The Last Patrol."

Junger's previous two films "Restreppo" and "Korengal" followed a platoon of U.S. soldiers at a remote base in Afghanistan. In "The Last Patrol," Junger hiked along the railroad lines of the Northeast corridor with two veterans from that platoon, talking about war and what it did to them.
