Gov. Baker's administration is planning to invest $500 million over the next five years in the life sciences. Baker's commitment to renew the state's investment in this sector, that former Gov. Deval Patrick launched in 2008 with a 10-year, $1 billion investment into the life sciences, establishing the Massachusetts' Life Sciences Center.
