WooSox Clear First Legislative Hurdle

Worcester's economic development committee unanimously approved a deal to bring the Pawtucket Red Sox to Worcester Wednesday night. The financial package, which would authorize the city to borrow up to $100.8 million, would help fund the team's new ballpark.
