This Mass. Senator's Side Hustle Is For HBO's Political Comedy 'Veep'

HBO's hit series "Veep" satirizes American politics and, in the show's seventh and final season, Selena Meyer, played by Julia Louis-Dreyfus, is running for President — again.

While the former "Seinfeld" star might be the biggest name in the "Veep" credits, there's a local name in there, too: state Sen. Eric Lesser.

Lesser is a political consultant on "Veep" and we talked with him about what the job entails and how he landed it.
