Mayor Marty Walsh And Incoming Superintendent Brenda Cassellius On Boston Public Schools

Boston Mayor Marty Walsh and incoming Boston Public Schools Superintendent Brenda Cassellius joined us to talk about the district.

The Boston School Committee offered Cassellius the job over two other candidates earlier this month. Cassellius served as Minnesota's education commissioner from 2011 through January this year.

She's also been a social studies teacher, a diversity coordinator and an academic superintendent for Memphis city schools.
