Jane Lynch is a comedian, singer and an Emmy Award-winning actress, best known for portraying Sue Sylvester, the ruthless cheerleading coach, on the musical TV show "Glee." She's also recognized for films like "Best In Show" and "The 40-Year-Old Virgin," and is the current host of "Hollywood Game Show."

In the past few years, she's also been prioritizing her music. Lynch picked up singing from her parents, who were amateur musicians in Chicago.

She brought her musical talents to Boston, where she's performing with The Boston Pops a selection of her favorite songs from the "Great American Songbook."

Jane Lynch will be performing on June 12 at 8 p.m. at Symphony Hall.
