What is with all the pollen?
A yellow paste seems to have descended on the region, causing watery eyes, itchy noses, and even some opting to hold onto their masks outdoors until it's over.
We talk about why this pollen season seems worse than usual, and what we can expect from seasonal allergies now and in the years ahead.
We're joined by WBUR meteorologist David Epstein, who is also the horticulturist behind the website GrowingWisdom.com. And Dr. Ari Bernstein is the Interim Director of the Center for Climate, Health and the Global Environment at Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health. He's also a pediatrician at Boston Children's Hospital and an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at Harvard Medical School.
