This is the Sept. 13 rundown for Radio Boston. Tiziana Dearing is our host:

  • New, updated COVID-19 boosters are rolling out across Massachusetts. Boston Medical Center infectious disease specialist Dr. Sabrina Assoumou and Tufts Medical Center epidemiologist Dr. Shira Doron explain what's different about these new boosters and how much protection they offer.
  • Documentary filmmaker Ken Burns is releasing a new documentary, "The U.S. and the Holocaust." Burns and his co-producer Sarah Botstein join us for a discussion about the project and its domestic focus to this global horror in history, and how the struggles feel current and uncomfortably familiar.

This program aired on September 13, 2022.
