This is the Radio Boston rundown for Nov. 25. Tiziana Dearing is our host.

  • In the first installment of our new segment, "Sample This," Boston Music Award-winner and founder of the Boston Silk R&B party, DJ Real P, joins us for a crash course on sampling and where Boston fits into the picture.
  • Mehmet Ali Sanlikol is a Grammy-nominated musician, composer, and now, the inventor of a brand new instrument. The Renaissance 17 includes 17 notes per octave, and is the culmination of a 23-year journey. He talks with us about how hard it was to build, and what it allows him to do musically that wasn't possible before.
  • After more than two years of being closed, Wally's Cafe Jazz Club is open once again for live audiences. In our regular "Business of Boston" segment, we look at how it became a local hotspot for jazz, what the jazz scene looks like now, and what we can expect to see from Wally's in the future.

This program aired on November 25, 2022.
