Massachusetts is one of only three states where a judge can't mandate someone receive involuntary outpatient mental health treatment — that is, treatment without hospitalization. New legislation on Beacon Hill would change that, but it's a proposal that is causing some controversy. WBUR's Deborah Becker joins us to talk about it From the Newsroom.
