This is the Radio Boston rundown for April 27. Carrie Jung is our host.

  • Thousands of students have already left the Boston Public Schools. Meanwhile, the city is is looking to consolidate school buildings. We look at the initiative from the perspective of parties involved. First, we ask what this means for students, their parents and teachers.  Later, policymakers join us to put the current consolidation into perspective and explain what it means for the future of the school system at large.
  • Boston's Comics in Color Festival is preparing for its third run this weekend. We preview the event and talk about the importance of representation in the medium of comic books.
