Confronting 'achievement trauma' requires rethinking identity

15:20

Most of us celebrate achievements — whether it’s at a job, a sport or a hobby. But what can happen when we obsess over achievement? Achievement trauma. The term basically means tying achievement to self worth.

WBUR's Radio Boston talks with Dr. Janna Koretz, a clinical psychologist at Azimuth Psychological in Boston and an expert on leadership and mental health, about achievement trauma.

This segment aired on October 3, 2024.
