Boston rabbis reflect on the year since the October 7th attack
It's been one year since Hamas attacked Israel, killing around 1,200 people and taking more than 200 hostages. Israel's ensuing war in Gaza has killed at least 41,900 Palestinians and wounded more than 97,300, according to Gaza's Health Ministry.
The year marker of the war comes just after Rosh Hashanah and the start of the High Holy Days for the Jewish community.
Claudia Kreiman, senior Rabbi at Temple Beth Zion, executive director of Boston Workers Circle Rebecca Zimmerman Hornstein and Temple Beth Elohim senior Rabbi Joel Sisenwine join Radio Boston to reflect on the year since the attack and share how they are approaching the High Holy Days this year.
This segment aired on October 7, 2024.
