How LGBTQ+ organizations are preparing for a second Trump presidency

LGBTQ+ advocates in are bracing for political shifts. Community groups know Massachusetts could be the state transgender people might move to to access gender-affirming care. At the same time, President-elect Donald Trump has also claimed he will cut federal funding for those providing that care and stop what he called quote — “transgender insanity.”

Radio Boston explores the ways trans people are thinking about their own safety, and how LGBTQ+ organizations preparing for another Trump presidency.
