How advocates responded to last year's increase in abortions in Mass.

12:47

In 2023, the first full year after Roe v. Wade was overturned, abortions in Massachusetts increased by 37% percent.

On Radio Boston, WBUR’s Martha Bebinger breaks down the data and Dr. Luu Ireland, chief medical officer of Planned Parenthood League of Massachusetts, shares what this increase looked like in practice. They also discuss how abortion rights groups are planning for President-elect Donald Trump's second term.

This segment aired on November 25, 2024.
