Police Identify Suspect In Death Of Woman Whose Body Was Found Burning In Bridgewater

Authorities have issued an arrest warrant for a Boston man they say is responsible for the death of a woman whose body was found burning near train tracks in Bridgewater earlier this month.

Plymouth District Attorney Timothy Cruz says 43-year-old Fernando Owens faces a murder charge in the Nov. 3 death of Ashley Bortner, originally from Paulsboro, New Jersey.

Investigators believe Owens thinks the 29-year-old Bortner had something to do with his son's shooting death that day and the killing was retribution.

Owens remains on the loose and is considered armed and dangerous.

Also, a husband and wife from Manchester, New Hampshire charged with lying to police about Bortner's death now face charges of accessory after the fact of murder.

Cruz says Julian and Shannon Squires helped dispose of Bortner's body.
