Ellie Pollo was born in Albania and grew up there. While living in Albania, she earned her B.A. in economics at the University of Tirana and worked for 23 years in the field of economics in various positions. She has been employed at WBUR in the business office since 2005. Ellie lives with her husband and daughter in Revere.
