It's been more than two months since Boston Police have had a permanent leader. The Police commissioner, Dennis White, is on leave after revelations of domestic violence allegations against him.

And this weekend, the Boston Globe reported the department kept quiet allegations that a longtime police officer and union leader, Patrick Rose, stood accused of molesting a 12-year-old.

Consider This cohost Arun Rath speaks with WBUR's Ally Jarmanning about the turmoil roiling the Boston Police Department.

This segment aired on April 13, 2021.
