Consider This: Was omicron more deadly than it needed to be in Mass.? Some experts say yes

The omicron surge is over and researchers are now parsing the data to see whether Massachusetts could have done more to protect the thousands of people who suffered and died during the wave.

According to the official count, more than 3,730 residents have died of COVID since omicron first surged here in December.
