Misinformation and disinformation online about COVID-19 continues to have real-world consequences for the virus' spread.

This week, moderators of popular Reddit communities, or "subreddits," wrote an open letter to the company calling upon administrators to remove this misinformation and disinformation, and to take action against the subreddits in which it originates and spreads.

In this episode, Amory and Ben talk to a moderator of the r/coronavirus subreddit and to u/N8theGr8 — who moderates dozens of communities containing millions of members — about the open letter and Reddit CEO Steve Huffman's response.
