FDR Suite at Harvard
Franklin Delano Roosevelt went to Harvard University from 1900-1904, but the school’s only memorial to him is a plaque in the rooms that he used to occupy. Now, a group at Harvard seeks to restore those rooms to their 1900 condition as a memorial to the 32nd president.
We tour FDR’s former suite with Michael Weishan, president of the FDR Suite Foundation, Inc. and historian Doris Kearns Goodwin.
