Robin Inducted Into The Hall Of Fame
We’re proud to announce that our own Robin Young will be inducted into the Massachusetts Broadcasters Hall of Fame this week.
Robin has had an eclectic and illustrious broadcast career. She’s a Peabody Award-winning documentary filmmaker and she’s been a substitute host and reporter on ABC’s Today Show. She’s reported for NBC, CBS and ABC television and was one of the first hosts on Boston’s groundbreaking Evening Magazine. She’s directed Red Sox and Bruins telecasts and hosted a cooking game show; she’s won Emmy awards and radio’s regional Edward R. Murrow award.
Of course, these days, we keep Robin busy as host of Here & Now. It's the perfect venue for her extensive background, as one moment she could be grilling top lawmakers in Congress about financial reform and the next interviewing film directors or authors. Robin Young has done it all, and we congratulate her on the Hall of Fame award.
